Blog can also be used as a promoting, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. The blogger can be upload information at any time and the reader also can receive information with no time limit. Most blogs are interactive, allowing visitors to leave comments and message on the blogs and it is this interactivity that defines them from other static websites. Many blogs provide information and news on a particular subject; the others function as more personal online diary. A blog would combine the text, images, and links to other blogs or Web pages, and other media related to the subject. The readers can leave comments to the blogger in an interactive format. The blogs is very power platform to share information but not are perfect, if the blogs can linkup some tool or software as "MS WORD"; "MS EXCEL" or "MS POWERPOINT", that will be better for the user.

Tap Mun Trail Walk & Camping

Tap Mun, or Tap Mun Chau in full name, is one of the islands at the far east of Hong Kong. The name (in Chinese "Tap" means pagoda and "Mun" means door) was given because of the many large rocks lying along the costal line, emulating many pagodas guarding the water entrance to the Hong Kong territories. The island is relatively small with area less than 2 square kilometers. It is flat also. At the hilltop of Mau Ping Shan, the highest point of the island is only 125 meters above sea level. Because of the short and easy routs, it is an idea place for family hiking.

How To Get There

There are ferries running twice every day between Ma Liu Shui and Wong Shek, with stops at Sham Chung, Lai Chi Chong, Tap Mun, Ko Lau Wan, and Check Keng. It will take the time around 90 minutes between Ma Liu Shui and Tap Mun. At the pier turn left. There are few stores and restaurants where you can refill yourselves with foods and drinks, or buy some dry seafood home. Passing the end of the lane you will see the Tin Hau Temple on the right. Like most outer islands and seaside villages in Hong Kong, native fishermen worship Tin Hau as the Goddess whom protects them from adverse sailing conditions.

Follow the path on the left of the temple will lead you to the Youth Centre and Police Post. There just follow the big sign on the ground that point you to the Hill Top and visit the renowned Balance Rock. From Tin Hau Temple to Hill Top is only take a 15 minute easy walk,the first attraction at the Hill Top that will catch your eyesight is the Sun Rise Pavilion. In front of it is the unblocked view facing east to the Mirs Bay. This area is also a perfect campsite that people will spend a night to view sun raise in the next morning.

Tai Tam Funny Walk

Tam Country Park, lying in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, mainly consists of a group of four reservoirs, namely, Tai Tam Upper Reservoir, Tai Tam Byewash Reservoir, Tai Tam Intermediate Reservoir and Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir.

Suggest Route......Wong Nai Chung Reservoir-->(Violet Hill Trail)-->Tsin Shui Wan Au-->Tai Tam IntermediateReservoir-->Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir-->Tai Tam Road.

At the gas station near Wong Nai Chung Gap Road, take a few steps up and cross the road. Follow along the path on the right and join the Violet Hill Trail. At the trailhead, head straight, follow the catchment and a dirt path until reaching a crossing.

                                                                                                     

You can find many kind of Butterfly and birds in Tai Tam Country Park, you feel tire? please take a rest and have a seat to enjoy the wonderful natural. If not, you can turn right and descend to Tsin Shui Wan Au. Turn left  and walk towards Tai Tam Reservoir Road. Then head right and cross a couple of bridges, you could finish the hike at Tai Tam Road.

Plenty of Scenic Spots on this Outlying Island

Despite its small size (about 3 sq km), Cheung Chau, with a population of 30,000 to 40,000 ranks as a perennial favourite with both locals and tourists. The island also plays host to the incredibly colourful Cheung Chau Bun Festival every year. Highlighting this event is the Bun Tower Scrambling Competition that attracts tourists from all over the world. This dumbbell shaped island with its quaint bank lanes and laid back lifestyle also boasts an abundance of scenic spots that make it a popular destination the whole year round.

Pay a visit to the island oldest temple

Fishermen have been living on Cheung Chau for hundreds of years. You can’t miss all the live aboard fishing vessels moored in the typhoon shelter as your ferry pulls into the pier. You’ll disembark on the Cheung Chau Ferry Pier and walk for several minutes and you will find yourself at Pak Tai Temple. It was built in 1783 and the court in front of the temple is the site of the Bun Tower Scrambling Competition, part of the annual Cheung Chau Bun Festival.

One of the island’s most famous residents, Lee Lai-Shan was the first Hong Kong resident to win a Gold Medal at the Olympics in 1996. There’s a sculpture her victory celebrating located adjacent to Tung Wan Beach!


Check out a 3000 years old stone craving

In 1970, a lucky geologist uncovered an ancient stone carving dating back 3,000 years under a slope near the Warwick Hotel and between Tung Wan and Kwun Yam Wan. It bore two sets of markings consisting of several curves surrounding a small groove. One of the sets was not fully exposed when the carving was discovered, but showed up clearly after the soil was cleaned away.

Ferries from the first ferry at central pier 5 ply the central to Cheung Chau route both ways around the clock, it will take 40 mins for the clippers and 1 hours for the slower boat.

How To Get There?

By Car

In order to reserve more areas for nature conservation and to minimize disturbance to the natural environment, the Hong Kong Wetland Park provides limited spaces (39 Nos.) for car parking. Parking spaces fill up quickly during Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. When the carpark is full, drivers may park their cars at nearby public carparks and take 15 minutes' walk to the Park. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport to visit the Park. Thank you for your support in protecting our natural environment.

MTR West Rail and Light Rail

At West Rail Tin Shui Wai Station, change to LRT 705 / 706, to Tin Sau Station (via pedestrian tunnel) or Wetland Park Station (via pedestrian bridge) to the Park.

        Although Tin Shui Wai has become known as the “City of Sadness”, hidden away among high-rise apartment towers and busy highways the past lives on in the New Territories which located the northwest Hong Kong. Discover a living museum shaped by the rise and developed of the co-called five great clans of Hong Kong. Taking in historic sites around the New Territories in Yeun Long district. The Heritage Tour brings to life the customs and culture of these clans and provides a fascinating glimpse of Hong Kong rich heritage.

        Home of “Tang” clan, they have been establishing themselves in New Territories for many hundreds of year ago and you may experience those greatest Historical buildings which provide a foundation of Hong Kong life hundreds and hundreds for years ago when hardworking peasants worked their small farm holdings.

Ø   Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda

Situated to the north of Sheung Cheung Wai, the Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda (Pagoda of Gathering Stars) is only ancient pagoda in Hong Kong. According to the genealogy of the Tang clan in Ping Shan, the pagoda was built by Tang Yin Tung of the 7^th generation more than 600 years ago.

Ø   Yeung Hau Temple and old Well

Yeung Hau Temple located in Hang Tau Tsuen is one of the six temples in Yuen Long dedicated to the deity Hau Wong (Emperor Hau). It is believed to have a history that dates back several hundred years.

Ø   Yu Kiu Ancestral Hall and Tang Ancestral Hall

Yu Kiu Ancestral Hall is situated between Hang Tau Tsuen and Hang Mei Tsuen to the south of the Tang Ancestral Hall. According to clan records, the hall was constructed by Tang Fung Shun of the clan’s 5^th generation about 700 years ago.

Ø   Kun Ting Study Hall

Kun Ting Study Hall located in Hang Mei Tsuen in Ping Shan, it was built in 1870 by Tang Heung Chuen of the 22^nd generation of the Tang clan in commemoration of his father Tang Kun Ting. The study hall provided facilities for both ancestral worship and education.

Ø   Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery

Constructed in 1899, the old Ping Shan Police Station is one of the few remaining pre-war police stations in the New Territories. The station compound was used by various units of the police force; after being superseded by the Yuen Long Station in the 1960, it continued as a training center and headquarters for the Police Dog the premises was formally handed over to the Leisure and Cultural Service Department in late 2002 and was converted into the Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Center, which introduces the history of the Tang clan and the monuments along the trail. The center was opened in 2007.

Ø   Yuen Long Town

Yuen Long is situated in the northwest of the New Territories in a large alluvial plain surrounded by hills on three sides. The district is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and abundance of antiquities and monuments. People would like to purchase the souvenirs, such as “wife’s cake & egg rolls”, produced by Hang Heung Cake Shop, and is well known to both local and overseas visitors. The pastry is hand-made and the cakes are freshly baked every day.

You can reach the trail via West Rail. The pagoda is right beside Tin Shui Wai station.
From the visitor centre, it's around five minutes walk to Ping Shan light rail station, from where you can ride the light rail to Yuen Long West Rail station !!!
